Set in our fast approaching future, HYPER▣EXT revolves around a wealthy Filipina financier arguing on the London Underground with her husband over a stream of text messages. As the thrust and parry of their discussion moves from the prurient details of expanding the boundaries of their sexual relationship to more intimate and personal revelations, observers worm their way in. Prying eyes look over her shoulder while tech company filters and algorithms mine their discourse for oh-so-helpful consumer based solutions to their problems.
Jovi is an artist, documentary filmmaker, writer, and technologist living in Bedfordshire, England. He began his career as an assistant to the renowned minimalist sculptor Donald Judd and went on to a teaching position at the University of the Philippines where he taught Art History, Photography and Installation. While there, he also served as a film critic and editor to several widely circulated newspapers and magazines and made two well-regarded anthropological documentaries. After returning to the United States, he completed a Masters at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University and later worked as a designer and programmer at the digital studio R/GA Interactive. From 2006-2020, he led interactive graphics teams at The Wall Street Journal as art director and technical director in New York and London, where his work garnered recognition from The Loeb Foundation, the Society of News Design, The Webby Awards, and The British Journalism Awards. His art has been exhibited in New York, London, San Francisco, Marfa, Texas, and Cebu City, Philippines. HYPER▣EXT is his first fiction film.
Liam is a British artist, filmmaker and an award winning cinematographer living and working out of Thamesmead, South East London. As an artist exploring the craft of cinematography, Liam is interested in exploring new imaging techniques to tell stories. Films include Bogvegas, (2022) an experimental feature, written, directed and shot by the artist and No Entry, (2020) (winner of best cinematography GATFEST) .
Ayn is a London-based Filipino actress. She started her professional career in the Miss Saigon UK and International Tour 2017-2019 as part of the ensemble but also as an Understudy for Kim. She graduated from the Conservatory of Music, University of Santo Tomas, Philippines with a Bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre, starting as a Classical voice major, without having any knowledge about Classical Music, and on her 3rd year she shifted to Musical Theatre.
Rodrig was born on October 7, 1958, in Bucharest, Romania. Debut as Actor in 2010, in London, United Kingdom. He is also a writer and journalist, having over 1,000 articles published in various newspapers and magazines and 2 books published : "Giants of Rock Music" (1991) and "The Unnamed Puppy"(1996). Between 1991 and 2007, thousands of movies translated from English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, into Romanian, live at the Romanian Film Archive and various film festivals (Dakino, European Film Festival) and, with script, at several TV networks. Rodrig Andrisan has many films under his belt (Feature Films, Shorts, Music Videos, Commercials), in which he appeared as an Actor, portraying very different characters, thanks to his natural look "all ethnicities".
Fadi is an actor born and raised in Antwerp, currently living in London. A veteran of many screen and stage productions, he is a graduate of the International School of Screen Acting and LUCA School Of Arts.
